Reddit bans its users from using the term "groomer" as in child “groomer” in an effort to tackle hate speech.
"Important Update about Reddit Trust & Safety's Policy on Hate Speech towards LGBTQ people
(self.AgainstHateSubreddits)
Yesterday PCM's subreddit operators stickied an announcement in their subreddit announcing that they are (finally) being required directly by Reddit administration to enforce Reddit Sitewide Rule 1, which prohibits promotion of hatred, targeted harassment, and violent threats. The list tells us important facts about Reddit Trust & Safety's policy about Hate Speech that targets LGBTQ people.
We won't be reproducing the full list published by the PCM operators here (it is full of slurs for no reason other than to openly publish slurs), but the most important parts of those lists, for our purposes, are these:
No portraying LGBT people as a whole as 'groomers' or 'pedophiles'
No portraying being transgender as a mental illness
No genocide denial referring to being trans as a 'mental illness' suicide statistics/'40%'
No equating LGBT with pedophilia
No using 'Groomer' to refer to LGBT"
It's obvious to anyone with any sense of healthy cynicism that the self-appointed champions of “freedom of the press” and “freedom of speech” who up to this time continue to attribute their alleged motives to those Enlightenment mottos, never actually believed in what they were preaching. They merely wanted to overturn the blasphemy laws of Christian civilization, many of which are still on the books in various jurisdictions, and replace them with hate speech laws of anti-Christian society.
This is what becomes inevitable once a formerly Christian society becomes “inclusive” and permits “freedom”, which in today's world might as well be a pseudonym for "non serviam".
That doesn’t mean that gays can’t abide by traditional mores, or that straights always will, only that the probabilities greatly differ. While everyone of us sin, some people work harder at their sin than others.
A gay man is fourteen times more likely to abuse a child than a straight man while Christian clergy members are 3.6 times less likely to abuse children than the general population unless they are homosexual.
In fact, four-fifths of the sexual abuse committed by Catholic priests could have been avoided simply by barring homosexuals from the clergy, as the Christian doctrine has always deemed necessary.
