Fourth Indictment Against Trump

A Georgia grand jury has voted to indict Donald Trump on 41 criminal counts, including a felony racketeering charge linked to his supposed efforts to overturn the 2020 presidential race.

“The 45th president has been indicted for the fourth time this year, as anticipated. Trump denies any wrongdoing in Georgia and has teased a forthcoming report that he claims will lead to new charges being dropped and result in his ‘complete exoneration’.

Attorney and strategic policy and legal consultant, Lee Steinhauer weighs in on the latest legal battle and the so-called ‘fictitious document’ that was posted online and then taken down.

Following his fourth indictment in five months, and the second to come from his alleged efforts to undo the 2020 presidential election, Donald Trump took to his Truth Social platform to announce that an “irrefutable report” will take place in Georgia that “should” result in all charges being dropped against him.

“A Large, Complex, Detailed but Irrefutable REPORT on the Presidential Election Fraud which took place in Georgia is almost complete [and] will be presented by me at a major News Conference on Monday of next week in Bedminster, New Jersey”, he wrote.

“Based on the results of this conclusive Report, all charges should be dropped against me [and] others. There will be a complete exoneration! They never went after those that Rigged the Election”.

The potential silver lining of these over-the-top, cynical prosecutions of Donald Trump may be that no one will be able to legitimately gainsay him if he were to get reelected and promptly retaliate in kind.
